Once you begin adding white to your royal icing you will never not use it. For some reason, royal icing ‘can’ go ‘off white’ so don’t risk it and always add white to your mix. You will be completely satisfied with result!
Handy tip when mixing fondant, use a toothpick to add your colour. Open the bottle and dip in a clean toothpick to add colour, or alternatively squeeze a small amount onto a plate.
Shake well before use.
