PopUp Beginners Watercolour Painting Play Workshop – July 11th

Get inspired and let’s practice our watercolour painting skills. This PopUp Workshop, is perfect for beginners because we are going to get creative and try lots of different ideas! In this relaxed and creative 2.5 hour session, you’ll learn the foundational techniques of watercolour painting while creating a few beautiful pieces of art: whether it be a case of flowers, a bouquet or a bunch of florals, all on high-quality watercolour cardstock. We’ll begin with a guided practice session to explore essential brush techniques, including how to paint leaves and petals. Then, you’ll sketch your designs and bring them to life with layering, blending, and texturing techniques using a variety of tools.

In this workshop, you’ll learn:

• Basic watercolour skills and brush control
• Leaf, petal, and accent techniques
• How to use colour and layering for added depth
• Sketching and composition tips for balanced, beautiful art

All materials are included, and no previous painting experience is required because this workshop is a start to your love of watercolour.
Once completed you will be able to take your amazing creations! PLUS, receive a $10 voucher to spend in store on the day.

Cancellations must be notified in writing at least 7 days prior to a scheduled class. Funds will be transferred for a future class. Refunds are less admin fees are at the discretion of CutterCraft.
If class must be cancelled due to lack of numbers or things beyond our control then we will provide a full refund of monies, with the opportunity to transfer it to another class if so desired. A minimum of 6 per class is required to continue.
