Perfect for beginners, those with knowledge, but want to up skill on royal icing and for those who need a refresher on RI consistencies. Learn and get hands-on making, colouring and piping some very cute Christmas cookies using royal icing. A huge focus will be learning how to master each royal icing consistency needed. You will mix your own consistencies so you get the look and feel for it rather than just watching a demonstration. There will be loads of piping to do to complete an amazing set to take home. In Class We Will:
- master all royal icing outline, flood and detailing consistencies
- outlining flood and detail techniques.
- decorating different techniques including wet on wet and layering fine detail, and a cute gingerbread man royal icing transfer.
- talk through the ideal baking, drying and storing cookies process
Light snacks, tea and coffee are provided. Shopping in the Cuttercraft Store will be available on the day and of course, you will take all your masterpieces home to show off and enjoy!
All materials will be supplied in class so just bring yourselves ready to have fun with Dahna and her trusty facilitator!
