Mother’s Day Mini Cake Workshop

Students will stack, crumb coat and apply a finishing coat of buttercream to a 4inch vanilla cake. Students will also have the option to include a raspberry jam filling if desired where they will learn how to make a dam to keep the filling from seeping out. They will then have the opportunity to learn how to pipe borders on the top and bottom edges, pipe leaves and rosettes then place a cardboard topper to create a scrumptious Mother’s Day cake.

In this workshop, you’ll learn:

  • How to stack, fill, crumb coat and apply a final smooth coat

  • How to pipe using different tips and techniques

  • How to store cake

  • How to cut and serve cake

Once completed you will be able to take your amazing cake home to WOW mum or keep to yourself!

All materials and tools will be provided.
